Butterflies and Moths of North America
Butterflies and Moths of North America (BAMONA) is an ongoing citizen science project to collect and share data about Lepidoptera. It is free to register and participate.

North American Butterfly Association
The North American Butterfly Association (NABA) is, by far, the largest group of people in North America (Canada, United States, and Mexico) interested in butterflies. They are a membership-based not-for-profit organization working to increase public enjoyment and conservation of butterflies.

The Lepidopterist’s Society
An international society devoted to the study and appreciation of the insect order Lepidoptera (which are moths and butterflies). Both amateur and professional entomologists are invited to utilize this site and to join the Society.

Monarch Watch
Monarch Watch is a nonprofit education, conservation, and research program based at the University of Kansas that focuses on the monarch butterfly, its habitat, and its spectacular fall migration. The special Monarch tagging stickers with unique identification codes can be purchased via the website.
