Newly formed in February 2017, this chapter serves the greater Raleigh-Durham area. At this time regularly scheduled meetings are to be determined as needed. Please refer to our calendar below for upcoming events.

Field Trips
Field trips to local area butterflying sights will be regularly scheduled through the months of April to September.

Community Outreach
Come see us at local events within the Raleigh-Durham area! We have many plans in the works for us to let our presence be known in the Triangle! We’d love to talk to you or your organization about how to create your own butterfly garden and habitat, raise caterpillars into butterflies, learn how to locate, identify, and count butterflies in nature, and available citizen scientist opportunities!

Youth Program
Butterfly education classes are in development that will be perfect for ages 5-12. Topics being planned are how to raise a caterpillar into a butterfly; how to locate, identify and count butterflies in the wild; and citizen scientist opportunities for kids.
